The Centennial Award Patch

The Grand Canyon Council Centennial Award can be earned by Scouts and Scouters. The Centennial logo was designed by Gumby Petersen, long-time aquatics chair and commissioner at Camp Geronimo and echoes both Scouting history and the Arizona State Centennial not too long ago!

The Centennial Award must be earned during 2021 and you can find the requirements here.

This is a 3-inch round hanger patch available for $3.00 at Grand Canyon Council’s Online Trading Post.

The Centennial Council Shoulder Patch (CSP)

The Centennial CSP was designed by Alana Labelle, a den leader and assistant cubmaster for Pack 71 in the Gila River district. The patch features the Arizona state flag with a “100” and BSA fleur-de-list superimposed on it with “Centennial 1921-2021”

The Centennial CSP is available in 100% mylar thread, a metallic-silver border, and silver, or mylar-copper borders at Grand Canyon Council’s Trading Post.

The CSP Mylar-Copper border is available for $5.00 and the CSP Silver Border is available for $25.00.

The 100% Mylar Thread CSP is available for $100.00 for that mylar ‘pop!’

Mylar is iridescent polypropylene, also known as Mylar film. It is the sheen to the patch. Our 100% mylar centennial CSP will have a vibrant shine. There are only 100 of these patches available and they will not be reordered.

This limited-edition patch celebrates our centennial year; designed by Mike Minis, who serves as the advisor to the Order of the Arrow Lodge’s trading post.

Available for $3.00 at Grand Canyon Council’s Online Trading Post.
