Dear Grand Canyon Council Scouters,

As conditions around COVID-19 continue to improve, we are actively monitoring government and public health guidance on masking and other mitigations to protect against spread of the virus.

As our service center is located on tribal land, we are also required to follow the policies of Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Until further notice, we will continue to require face masks of visitors and employees at the Dave Alexander Scout Service Center (8840 E. Chaparral Rd., Ste., 200, Scottsdale, AZ 85250).  While the Service Center is open to the public, most Scouters have found they can successfully handle all Scouting business via the internet, email, and telephone.

For council and district activities, please continue to follow the existing resources, policies, and procedures outlined on the Council website:  https://www.grandcanyonbsa.org/covid19/

Finally, we encourage units to continue working with their charter organizations to conduct their Scouting activities in a safe and fun way that maximizes safety and Scouting adventure for the youth.

Thanks for your involvement in Scouting here in Arizona and the Grand Canyon Council.
