What is Rocket League?

Rocket League is a video game where you play soccer with cars. The game was developed by Psyonix. It is a competitive game that focuses on teamwork.

Tournament Registration Cost

Registration cost is $25 per person. eScouts Rocket League Tournament requires 2 entries/players per team. All registered participants will receive a complementary eScouts t-shirt.

Tournament Format

The Tournament Format is 2 vs 2 Single Match – Double Elimination. You will need a gaming partner. This as an opportunity to introduce someone new to scouting!

Rocket League Objective

Players work with their teammate to move the ball down the field and score goals in the net on the opposing team. Rocket League is a game that uses dexterity and fast-paced gameplay. To win a game of Rocket League, your team must score the most goals (like in soccer).

Rocket League is rated E for Everyone. Rocket League can be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows Computers, and Mac

How it’s played

Each team starts on either side of the field on either the blue or orange team. The timer counts down and the game begins. Players have to race to the ball and hit the ball with their car. Players race to get as many goals as possible within five minutes. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins. If there is a tie, the game will go into overtime and the first team to score will win.

Rocket League Cars

Rocket League is different from soccer because you hit the ball with a car, not your feet. Players are able to customize their vehicle and earn boosts by driving over glowing circles during the game. Players can also have their car fly by combining boosts and jumps.
